In an innovative partnership with Target and Freeform, I led a dynamic campaign designed to celebrate and elevate the experience of a weekly movie night during the pandemic era. As the writer, director, producer, and editor, I developed a multifaceted approach that leveraged the full roster of Freeform’s top talent, engaging them in a series of national and interactive on-air spots that were crafted remotely.
The hero national spot, alongside various weekly interactive segments, was ingeniously designed to simulate a communal viewing experience. These spots featured network talents engaging in talk-back segments as if they were watching the movies live with the viewers, fostering a sense of connection and community. Each piece was strategically placed between commercials to maintain engagement and boost the interactive feel of the campaign.
This campaign not only provided entertainment but also effectively utilized digital platforms to replicate a shared viewing experience, enhancing viewer engagement and creating a strong association between the comforting ritual of movie nights and the Target and Freeform brands.
