Trouble in the Coterie
A Quiet Place Pt.II & Disney/Freeform’s Good Trouble
As the writer, producer, and director, I orchestrated an innovative marketing campaign to coincide with the release of “A Quiet Place Part II” and Season 4 of “Good Trouble.” This unique integration involved a creative transformation of the “Good Trouble” set, the Coterie, into a world reminiscent of “A Quiet Place.” We meticulously redesigned the environment to appear as if the cast had been hunkering down there during the film’s tense alien invasion, complete with the iconic sand paths that are a hallmark of the movie’s suspenseful atmosphere.
This spot was crafted with a deliberate mimicry of the film’s distinct style—utilizing sparse dialogue and strategically built tension to enhance each moment. My direction aimed to seamlessly blend the narrative elements of both the film and the TV series, creating a compelling cross-promotional piece. This integration not only highlighted the thematic elements of survival and resilience shared by both properties but also demonstrated a deep understanding of visual and narrative storytelling, making for a campaign that was engaging and thematically rich.
